Cocoa production continues to soar up despite the Covid 19 situation and the lock down been imposed by the government.
Leading Cocoa buyer in the Autonomous Region of Bougainville Agmark Limited has now got a full storage shed with full cocoa bags from all over central and south Bougainville. With buying depots everyday in every district everyday 30 to 40 bags are purchased by locals.
Two to three thousand bags are being transported to the storage shed in Arawa from the depots every week and then shipped from former mining port Loloho to Rabaul in the East New Brittan province where it will be exported overseas.
